Course content:
How can I come to terms with ASD as part of my family? Feel more comfortable as a parent by learning the common stages of grief of my non neurotypical child.
You will find 8 sessions with unoverwhelming reflections to help you grow emotionally and spiritually and continue with your journey with God by your side.

Why Pray? Short intro to prayer as part of the course spiritual component. Learn the importance of prayer. stop worrying about the uncertainty of my child’s future and gain peace of mind? How do fear and faith play together in my role as a mother?
Session 3
Why Journal? Comon techniques on journaling and its healing power as a spiritual growth tool.
Session 4
Denial: Is this real? Is this a nightmare? Can I wake up and reset? The dangers of denial to face a reality.
Session 5
Anger: Why me? Understanding the difference between anger and fear.
Session 6
Negotiation: Lets trade? The dangers of playing with different forms of diagnosis to deny the reality.
Session 7
Depression: What? Love is not the cure for all evils? What are the hidden signs of depression and avoid the “I am ok trap”
Session 8
Acceptance: God makes no mistakes. Acceptance vs resignation and acceptance vs hope What am I accepting? How do I move forward?
