Dr. Georgina Lynch, Ph.D.

Expert in Autism, Neuroscience, and Clinical Interventions
Dr. Georgina Lynch is a renowned researcher, clinician, and advocate in the field of autism and neurodevelopmental disorders. Holding an interdisciplinary Ph.D. in neuroscience and psychology, she is also a licensed speech-language pathologist, nationally certified by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. With over 20 years of experience, Dr. Lynch has dedicated her career to assessing and treating individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and other neurodevelopmental conditions.
As a leading expert in autism, pupillometry, and clinical interventions across the lifespan, Dr. Lynch has developed clinical partnerships nationwide to support her groundbreaking work. She is a sought-after speaker, presenting at national conferences and contributing extensively to peer-reviewed journals, edited books, and professional associations.
Previously, Dr. Lynch served as an associate professor at Washington State University, where she was the founding program director of the Autism and Neurodevelopmental Program of Excellence in the Elson S. Floyd College of Medicine. In this role, she worked alongside a multidisciplinary team of medical professionals specializing in ASD diagnostics and treatment. She continues her affiliation with WSU as a research collaborator.
A pioneer in innovative autism screening, Dr. Lynch holds a patent for technology examining the pupillary light reflex, designed to enhance early autism detection in routine healthcare. In 2024, her research in pupillary technology was transferred to a private company for development as a medical device, supporting healthcare providers, families, and children.
Beyond research, Dr. Lynch has worked extensively in clinical and educational settings, providing consultation for intensive communication programs using Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC). She has collaborated with schools to design individualized intervention plans and provided state-level training for interdisciplinary teams, including school psychologists, speech-language pathologists, occupational and physical therapists, and special educators.
Passionate about advocacy, Dr. Lynch remains dedicated to empowering children with disabilities and their families. Through her research and clinical work, she strives to advance knowledge, improve interventions, and enhance the quality of life for individuals with autism and other neurodevelopmental conditions.
